BLACK PLANETS (part 2)
>>><<<
Those liquid
Black planets
Their grooves are rings of DNA
Have I seen enough?
I’m thinking
Compression
My tone impression has no name
And the night’s still young
Lost soundscapes
Of Eden
Their voices call me on again
Where no one knows
My footsteps
Grow bigger
And as I walk, I need more gain
While north wind blows
How much more we’ll search these oceans
Land is all I see
How much long we’ll be misguided
By reality
There must be a long forgotten
Cave for you and me

Utterly hypnotic, heavy, and ethereal beyond what I can aptly describe here. It'll take you careening down a kaleidoscopic wormhole of audial bliss. cynothoglys

This searing, four-track split from Bog Wizard (Michigan) and Dust Lord (Colorado) pairs stoner rock riffs with hard fantasy themes. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 10, 2021

These guys are, in my opinion, one of the greatest stoner/sludge band that have popped up in recent years. Sure, you have the "old gods" like Sleep, Electric Wizard, and Kyuss but Spaceslug brings something new to the table. They're fresh, and it seems like they've got no thought of stopping anytime soon.
